Hi,
I tried to find something about Tomasz Jankowski and Róża (Rozalia) nee Kołzan (Kowzan, Kouzan). This attached wedding record does not answer your question.
My findings are based on "Genetyka" and "Szukaj w archiwach". I guess something is familiar to you.
Tomasz and Rozalia had at least 4 children:
Franciszka born 1809 (she was the youngest)
Rozalia born abt. 1807
Jędrzej (Andrzej) born abt. 1805
Pawel born abt. 1801
I have read the wedding records of the 4 children. In two cases, the information is that they live with their parents. It confirms that both lived in 1827 and 1828. In 1828 they were abt. 63 and 58 years old.
I found a wedding record which looks interesting. On February 2nd, 1835 Tomasz Jankowski, widower, 70 years old marries widow Anna Mikielska nee Szczesna. In this record it is stated that he was the son of Bartlomiej and Marianna.
I also found the death record of Tomasz which states that he died on Juny 3rd, 1841, and that he is survived by his wife Anna nee Szczesna.
If this is your Tomasz, which I believe, then Rozalia died between 1828-1835. Unfortunately I was unable to find her death record.
Hope that was some new information.
Regards,

Hi Barb,
The more I think about it, the more I think this could be a possibility for Tomasz Jankowski. Do you have the time to translate the 1835 marriage record you referenced? I have attached it for easy reference. Your assistance is very much appreciated. Thank-You, jajan.

Nr 3
Dzierwany
It happened in the town of Wiżajny, on February 3rd, 1835, at 2 p.m.
We make it known that in the presence of the witnesses, Onufry Szczesny, 53 years old, a farmer living in the village of Okliny and Kazimierz Langowski, a citizen of the town of Wiżajny, living in Wiżajny, 55 years old, a religious marriage was concluded on this day, between:
Tomasz Jankowski, a widower, a daylaborer living in Dzierwany, who was born in Czostków, a son of the late spouses: Bartłomiej Jankowski and Marianna Jankowska, 70 years old
and
Anna Mikielska, a widow after the late Wojciech Mikielski, who died on May 1st of the last year, daughter of the late spouses Kazimierz Szczesny and Marianna Szczesna, born in the village of Blenda, 45 years old, living in Dzierwany.
This marriage was preceded by the three banns of marriage, announced on January 11th, 1th and February 1st of the current year.
There were no objections for this marriage.
The newlyweds declared they did not enter into the prenuptial agreement.
This act was read to the newlyweds and the witnesses and due to their illiteracy it was signed by Us only.
Priest Józef Kochański, the Wiżajny parish-priest.

Hi Jajan,
Then I see that Marcel has already translated this wedding record. There is a high probability that it is your Tomasz. Both the age and area match, but why can't we find Rozalia's death record?
