Post subject: Insearch of relatives/Zielinski
Hello,
I'm researching my family tree and know my Great Grandparents Josef and Katharina Zielinski, along with sons Franz and Stanislas immigrated to the United States in April 1901 aboard the Hannover. It departed from Bremen, Germany arriving in Baltimore MD. Katharina's maiden was Goracki. The manifest indicates their last residence was Posen. Also, they were going to Minnesota to a friend Michael J Dyczkowski. Michael and his wife Marianne (Goracki) immigrated May 1 1891 arriving in New York Mary 9 1891. Their last residence was in Rogasen, Posen. Also, Josef/Katharina's oldest daughter (my grandmother) immigrated on Sept 17 1907 on the Grosser Kurfurst out of Bremen arriving in New York. The manifest gives her name as Helena Zelinska, age 22 and she was going to her father Joseph.
