Greetings all,
I was hoping that somebody could explain what the atached document is about. The reason I'm asking is that a probable ancestor is named in line #18.
I don't need a translation, but a brief description, using line 18 (Andrzej Lasota) as an example would be useful. I can't see a date, but the document is indexed as 'starostwo soleckiego 1804-1809'.

TIA
Cheers,
Henry Soszynski

Hi Henry,

The document is written in German and is basically a list of building material needed for new buildings or for buildings needing repair. You will find a list of inhabitants per village. Andres Lasota is among the 23 inhabitants from Wola Solecka in the Starostwo or county Soleckiego. In his case no building is mentioned (compare in no. 16 it’s a “Haus”, in no. 19 a “Kuhstall”). The next columns specify the needed material. In Andres Lasota’s case it’s 10 “Latten” or laths.

Best regards,
Michael

Hello Michael,
Thanks for clarification, I wasn't quite expecting this but it's interesting none the less.

Cheers,
Henry
