Post subject: Digital Info on Warsaw and Surrounding areas
Hi everyone, great forum, awesome information!
I am currently trying to gather information about my grandmother and her parents who were born between 1890 and 1925 in the Warsaw and close towns/districts area. I am hoping to obtain their birth and marriage certificates, but I am unsure where to start.
Does anyone know of any websites that provide digital information on birth and marriage certificates for Warsaw and/or close towns/districts area? I am trying to gather the basic information to start a formal search, and any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much! I am looking for information on the below 3 people.
I have the names they received when arriving into Argentina. They might have some deviations from their original names in Poland.
Aida Brikman (grandmother)
Birth: Poland
Date: September 25, 1921 (this is the information given to Argentina, not sure if this is the correct day and month, year should be OK).
Died on January 31 2002 in Buenos Aires City, Argentina.
Zelman Lajb Brikman (grandmother's father)
Birth: Poland (I keep finding Zyrardow as a potential place of birth for several Brykman members)
Could have been born on 1900, found the following information, not sure if this relates to him:
(records in Fond 308 Warszawa Archive Grodzisk Mazowiecki Branch)
Located at 52°04’ 20°26’
Akta 112 Type B Year 1900
Died on June 7 1969 in Temperley, Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Parents
- Father: Abrham Brikman, AKA: Abrom Brikman
- Mother: Golda Jacube, AKA: Golde Sura Yacubi, Golda Sura Yakubi
Dora Rossman (grandmother's mother)
Birth: Poland
No info on location or year. She was older than Zelman, we could expect it to be 1890-1900.
Died on 1971 in José Marmol, Buenos Aires, Argentina
Her parents were Jose Rossman and Aida Herskowicz (most likely called differently in Poland)
I found Dwojra Razjman in Nadarzyn, Warszawa Gubernia. Not sure if this is she, or a person with a similar name

Located at 52°06’ 20°48’
Akta 68 Type B Year 1892
I understand that Zelman came to Argentina through Uruguay around 1923, and that Dora / Aida came directly from Europe a few years later.

Father: Abrom Brikman
Mother: Golda Jakubi

Here is the most important thing.
Zelman Lajb Brikman - born 20.12.1900 at 11 o'clock in the evening in Ruda Guzowska parish Żyrardów.
Father: Abrom Brikman 34 years old (estimated birth is ab. 1866)
Mother: Golda Jakubi 34 years old (estimated birth is ab. 1866)
Ruda Guzowska is today part of Żyrardów.

Did you have any luck with Dora/Dwojra and/or Aida? I tried searching with your links but didn't even get Zelman's information. Clearly, you are doing something different!

I can't find in Zyrardow the birth record of Dora Rosman.
No wedding either. Checked Brikman & Jakubi, Brikman & Rosman, Rosman & Herskowicz.
Do you have any documents from Argentina where we can find other possibilities?

Did you try Dwojra Rajzman born in 1892? If we get her info and see her parents names we will be able to check that she is the same person as "Dora Rossman".

Hi,
It's these four I'm going to check. Found a birth record that might fit for Abrom Brikman, but will first look for the marriage record to confirm parents.
