It could be Cmentarz Ostrołęka or Cmentarz parafialny Baranowie, etc.

As the individuals died in Jastrząbka and Zabiele, near Ostrołęka.

How can I find out in which cemetery these photos were taken?

G'day Charlie,

Cmentarz Ostrołęka has a web site and you can search for burials - https://ostroleka.grobonet.com/

Try 'Find a Grave' or 'Billion Graves'

Cheers

Hi,
Do you have the death records? Maybe the burial place / cemetery is noted in this.

Thanks Ted. Whilst Cuch is a rare enough surname that I would probably already know if an entry was on BillionGraves, the Grobonet website was a good lead and I have emailed the cemetery for potentially more information. Appreciate your reply!

Hi Barb, thank you for the suggestion. In my experience it would be very rare for a death record to list this information (unless you have seen otherwise), but I must admit I have not seen any death records from the closed access period post-1943 yet, so it’s possible.

I will look into this as a potential option, noting I may need to establish Power of Attorney as a descendant of the people mentioned in the records.

Do any other users have thoughts on searching further? Any ideas appreciated Smile

Hallo,
Almost all church death records contain this information.
The picture you attached is not of the best quality. Can you read for me what is written on the gravestone. Do you know what year this photo was taken?

Best

Identifying the cemetery from a photo can indeed be a puzzle. To pinpoint the exact location, you might consider reaching out to local historical or genealogical societies in the areas of Jastrząbka and Zabiele. They could have valuable records or insights that might help you narrow down the possibilities.
And speaking of locations, if you're interested in honoring the memories of loved ones, exploring Quincy Memorials might offer some ideas for creating meaningful epitaphs. Best of luck in your quest to solve the mystery and preserve the memory.
