Hope that someone can help me. Our last name is Ochab and that seems to be uncommon for a Polish name. My grandmother was Maria Krupa-Ochab and was deserted by her husband Francis Ochab. He sent her and two children back to Poland to which he was to follow but never did. I also know that the name Mastej comes into family heritage since my dad's grandfather was a Mastej. Also this is the first time I am using this site to see how I can get info. My mother was Kazimiera Slusarczyk and her mother's surname was Maria Kowalski. Thanks and maybe someone knows something to fill me in and to start me off.

Thank you for info Elzbieta. Now how do I go about looking for Ochab family since I can not read Polish and it seems everything is in Polish. Is there a site that I must go to for English? My dad was born in America but returned as a young lad and Poland was part of Austria at the time.
