Post subject: Birth Record
Please help. I am looking for the birth record for Helena Aleksandra Bielak. Born in 1947 in Czarny Dunajec. I do know that she was in the United States in 1965 but cannot find a record for when she came to the U.S. either. I have looked everywhere with no luck. If someone can help, it would be deeply appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Hello there,
In order to find her birth record, you would need to contact the registery office of Czarny Dunajec. As the birth records are not avaliable after 100 years after the birth record was recorded. This is becuase of privacy. Also, you might have some trouble finding her in the US as censuses are only avaliable until 1950 (72 year rule) as well as the immiragtion records, as they are not all digitized. Hopefully this helps.

Was Bielak the maiden name for Helena? Where did she settle in the USA? Do you know her spouse's name? I can try to search for some USA records, but I need more information.

Was Bielak the maiden name for Helena? Where did she settle in the USA? Do you know her spouse's name? I can try to search for some USA records, but I need more information.

Hi Trish. Bielak was the maiden name. When she came to the US, she was in the Chicago area. I do not know her spouses name. I do know that she had a child out of wedlock when she was 18. The child was born in Chicago in November 1965. I believe she may have gotten pregnant in Poland though I am not 100% sure. Hope this helps. Thank you!
