Post subject: Looking for Siemiradzkas!
Hi people,
Looking for the husband and relatives of Agnieska Laszczyński Siemiradzka, mother of Teresa Siemiradzka and Juljian Siemiradzki who both migrated to Argentina during the 1920s.
People who knew and met Agnieska Laszczyński Siemiradzka and Teresa Siemiradzka during that time and lived in/or near Łoszniow or Trembowla were Thomas Sierociński and Ochs Gershon.
Also interested in the Szelenko family, and relatives of Mihael Srotwa, this last two also migrated to Argentina presumably around the same period.
I don't have many more details, Teresa Siemiradzka was my great grandmother and I would like to know who was her father so I could continue looking for relatives in Poland. Problem is that Łoszniow nowadays is in Ukraine =/

In 1945, most of the Poles living in the eastern territories of Poland, annexed by the USSR, were deported to Poland, mainly in the former German territories in the west.
http://www.moikrewni.pl/mapa/kompletny/laszczy%25C5%2584ski.html
The map shows the distribution of Laszczyński by county, taken from a 2002 surname list. It can be seen that most are in the west.
Contact your local branch of the Red Cross, and ask them to contact the Polish Red Cross to search for relatives.
None of the other surnames are in the surname list

Thanks Henryk, Although I've managed to find Siemiradzkas in Krakow and Warzow, relatives of the famous painter Henryk Siemiradzaki. Which I don't think I'm related due to the dated my last leads of my family and mostly because my relatives were farmers and this people were high profiled socialite people. Although he was born in what now is Ukraine too.
So Siemiradzka, confirmed there are a few but I don't know the name of the actual original Siemiradzka, the father of my great grandmother. As per Laszczyński apparently is not an uncommon name.
As per Srotwa and Szelenko, I've found a very very little ammount of Szlenkowi but I don't know if this might be correct, it was just a statistic not actual contacts.
I will try to contact the red cross, I live in the middle east now so let's see how it works, it's called red crescent here thanks for your help man, I still dunno how to continue =/

Hi Siemiradzka, are you still there?
Jan "Semira" Siemiradzki, b. 29.10.1919 in Łoszniów, married in Losone (CH) a Swiss girl Maria Fornera (b. 05.06.1918 Losone, d. 02.08.1988 Losone). They had two children: Anna (b. 17.07.1946 Losone, d. 17.10.1948 Losone) and Bruno (b. 27.05.1951 Losone, d. 21.06.2018 Losone). Jan died in Maggia (CH) on 10.02.1999. I did not follow Bruno's history and I do not know if he was married and if he had any children. All the data was taken from this film: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wbZ5SPmBiI4 where you can also find their photos.
