I came across stumbling block in my family research the other night at the LDS
library...When I found my great-great grandparents marriage record in the
Village of Dlutowo, Poland Dzialdowo County I discovered that my great-great
grandfather had been born in place called (Grodzie) located in Prussia county. I
would like to know if anyone would know what films I could order next from LDS
that would have the records for this region which is not on maps anymore ? I
found a place which exists today just 30 minutes north of Dlutowo called
(Grodziczno). I wonder if this could be the same place today in modern day
Poland ? The LDS has films for Grodziczno.

Billy,

A helpful tool to find out these places is Kartenmeister, but it is not opening now.
http://www.kartenmeister.com/preview/databaseuwe.asp

Places I would check are:
Grodzia OP Johannisburg Johannisburg Johannisburg Kallenzinnen
Grodziczno WP Löbau Neumark Grodziczno Grodziczno
Grodzisken OP Ortelsburg Rheinswein Mensguth Rheinswein
Grodzisko OP Angerburg Kutten ******** Kutten
Grodzisko OP Johannisburg Kumilsko Johannisburg Kumilsko
source: http://www.progenealogists.com/germany/prussia/pru-gna.htm

I suspect Grodzia is now Gródki, just two miles NE of Dlutowo.

Thank you Gilberto...This is what I have been suspecting...I'm thinking that it may be Grodziczno. Or like you said Gródki. Both are very close to Dlutowo especially Grodi. Which is very close. The only thing that puzzles me is that it said Prussia County. I wonder if Grodki was in Prussia back then...
