Post subject: help with translation
Reviewing a record in Genetka, this popped up when I highlighted the information icon. data chrztus: 11Kwi 1816 illegitimi
thon, matka wdowa. I believe it translates to christning 11 April 1816. illegtimate _____(thon), mothr widow. The word thon is what I'm having trouble with Help would be much appreciated. Thank yor in advance,

Hi,
Thori is the Genitive Singular of the noun thorus. thori, m., bed. Illegitimi is an adjective modifying thori. In terms of Latin syntax the words are what is known as a Genitive of Origin and are literally translated “of an illegitimate bed”.
