Post subject: Village Name - Zurowa
Are you sure the name of your village is Zurowa? My gr-grandfather was born in Zurawia near Kcynia. There are two Zurawia's--this one and one near Warsaw, I think. Do you know where your "Zurawo" is located?
My Grandfather's father lived in Zurowa which is just below Tarnow, Poland. My Grandfather last residence in Poland was Grybow, Poland. He came to America in 1913.

Post subject: Grybow
My grandfather John (Jan/Johan) Maciosek and his brother Josef were born in Grybow according to their immigration papers (they came to the U.S. in 1899 and 1891, respectively). Their surname, originally Maciaszek, was spelled several different ways once they arrived here. I have so far been unable to find any information about them in Grybow church records, but I must admit I have not been diligent in my research. I would love to know who my ancestors were and whether I have any relatives still living there.
