My paternal g-grandmother's maiden name was WADNER,as some members or relatives think.
I have a wedding picture of her and marriage certificate with her maiden name as MICHALSKI.
She was born in Prussia in 1871.Married to Frank Kuczynski ,also from Prussia, born 1859.They were married in St. Adalbert's Church in Buffalo NY in 1887.
Can you give me any ideas as to why these other relatives insist that her maiden name was Wadner ? I have called them several times and they don't seem to know ,or so they say......
Is it a good idea to see the city clerk of Buffalo ? And would the mother of Veronica Wadner have to sign the application for a marriage certificate ?I think I hit the dreaded "brick wall" here.
Have you any suggestions ??
Thank you if you can help.
