Hello!

I'm conducting genealogical research on a person named Srul Kosowski, born in 1900 in Bluden (now Pervomaiskaya, Belarus). I recently received a household document from Vilnius, which lists his "relationship to general military duty" as "reservist." From what I understand, someone could be in the reserve if they had previously served in the military.

Since he was born in 1900 and Bluden became part of the Polesie Voivodeship in 1921, I assume he may have served in the Polish military. My question is: is there a way to investigate this further? What steps would I need to take? I have already visited https://wbh.wp.mil.pl/ and reached out to them but have not received a specific answer.

I would really appreciate it if someone could guide me.

Many thanks!
