Hi Everyone,

I could find some records of my great grandfather in the great war.
He joined the Prussian Army and was made prisioner in France. After the Great War he joined the Polish Army in the Soviet-Polish war, in exchange to be released from prision.

I could find a prisioner card and a prisioner register in this website:

And also this causality list in what seems to be a German newspaper of 31 January 1919. This list shows his infrantry regiment 409, as well his name and birth date, so I'm confident that is the same person.

By any chance anyone knows any archive or sometinhig that I can look for more information? I know that the prussian records were almost all of them destroyed by the Nazis, but I think it's worth a try.

I'm also trying to find something about his participation in the Soviet-Polish war, but couldn't get anything.
