My grandfather's name was Andrzej Papuga and I am interested in his surname. His passport listed him as a peasant. He lived: Yanuvki; Gmina Estate Komarovo Tomaschevski; Lublin Region.

Hi again Linda,

Papuga in Polish means just "parrot".

In 2002 there were 1661 people bearing the surname Papuga living in Poland. Detailed map can be found here https://nazwiska-polskie.pl/Papuga .
