Post subject: Wyszynski
Seaching for information of my great grandfather Jan Wyszynski. Place and date of birth is unknown.
I do know he was second husband of Agnieszka Golaszewska after the death of her first husband Jozef Uszynski in 1876. Jozef and Agnieszka had 10 children Uszynski.
Jan Wyszynski and Agnieszka Golaszewska had two children that I am aware of. Stanislaw Wyszynski(1878) and my grandfather Aleksander Wyszynski(1879). My grandfather and his brother were born in Tyborach Misztalach, so I guess Jan and Agnieszka were married there. I have not been able to find further data on Jan Wyszynski.
I only know that at the baptism of Aleksander in 1879, his father Jan Wyszynski was on temporary leave from the Russian army.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hello AlWysz,
https://familysearch.org/search/catalog/results#count=20&placeId=65022&query=%2Bplace%3A%22Poland%2C%20Bia%C5%82ystok%2C%20Jab%C5%82onka%20Ko%C5%9Bcielna%20(Wysokie%20Mazowieckie)%22&subjectsOpen=550264-50,389304-50
The FamilySearch.org record I found for parish Jablonka, includes township of
1) Roman Catholic church records (1779 - 1870):
2) Jewish records (1827 - 1888):
The births of Stanislaw Wyszynski(1878) and Aleksander Wyszynski(1879) will not be in these records (because they were later). But, because Jozef Uszynski died in 1876, you might be able to find his DEATH record here, along with the birth record of the 1st 8 children (and the marriage of Jozef to Agnieszka Golaszewska record). Note, that the description of the Catholic records says it contains only BIRTH records (so it might not contain the death record).
I also found this website that has searchable/online listing of Jablonka parish records
http://www.katalogszlachty.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=11226:indeks-urodze-parafia-jabonka-1876&catid=36:indeksy&Itemid=55
And searched for Wyszynski here:
http://www.katalogszlachty.com/index.php?searchword=WYSZY%C5%83SKI&ordering=newest&searchphrase=all&option=com_search
It found 50 records of the WYSZY%C5%83SKI family name (death, etc).
I then searched it using WYSZY%C5%83SKI and 1879 and found a BIRTH record for an Aleksander born on November 27, 1879 to father Jana (age 35; born ~1844) , and mother Agnieszki Gołaszewskiej (also age 35; born ~1844). The 58/1879 probably means it was the 58th birth that happened in that parish during 1879.
Here is the link:
http://www.katalogszlachty.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=11142:indeks-urodze-parafia-jabonka-1879&catid=36:indeksy&Itemid=55
Here is the text:
"WYSZYŃSKI Aleksander, syn Jana lat 35 i Agnieszki Gołaszewskiej lat 35, urodzony w Misztalach Tyborach 27.11.1879, 58/1879."
Searching it for Gołaszewskiej, I found this:
http://www.katalogszlachty.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=11314:indeks-urodze-parafia-jabonka-1874&catid=36:indeksy&Itemid=55
"USZYŃSKA Józefa, córka Józefa lat 35 i Agnieszki Gołaszewskiej lat 30, urodzona w Misztalach Tyborach 27.05.1874, 36/1874"
This is a BIRTH record of "Daughter" named Josefa Uszynska (born on May 27, 1874). Father is also named Jozefa (age 35; born ~1839). Mother is Agnieszki Gołaszewskiej (age 30; born ~1844).
If Jozefa and Agnes had a daughter born to them in May 1874 (in Misztalach Tyborach); and later Jan and Agnes had a son born to them in November 1879 (and possibly in 1878 in Misztalach Tyborach).... then, very likely there will be a marriage record for Jan/Jana/Joannes and Agnes between 1874 and 1878/1879. Note that I write "Jan/Jana/Joannes", because sometimes the records are written using Polish vs Latin names of the people.
I hope this helps with your search!

Wow! Thank you. I didn't know about Agnieszka & Jozef's daughter Jozefa (1874). She is new. Thanks.
I did find the birth of my grandfather Aleksander(1879 - with a side bar stating his marriage to my grandmother Ewa Gorkowska), and his brother Stanislaw(1878). I find no information on adult life of Stanislaw, (marriage, children, etc)
I also found the marriage of my great grandmother Agnieszki Gołaszewska and her first husband Jozef Uszynski in 1859. In that notice the parents of Agnieszka and Jozef were stated. It also stated the second marriage of Jozefs father.
That is what has been so frustrating. I find everyone but Jan Wyszynski. On my grandfathers birth notice it states that his father, Jan Wyszynski, was on temporary leave from the Russian army. That is all I can find. I am frustrated!!
THANK YOU so much for all this information. I continue my search.

AlWysz,
Remember that Internet-searches (to websites like Ancestry.com and http://www.katalogszlachty.com ) do not always show EVERY record for the surname that are exist. Someone has put some effort into visually examining pages of books (or the microfilmed images from the pages of the books), and made it searchable on Internet. Many records were either too difficult to read, or skipped by the person who was doing the transcribing of the information into internet/digital/searchable data.
I do not know if you've been to your local LatterDaySaints Family Search center yet, and ordered any Microfilm from Salt Lake City yet or not to examine the images on the microfilm for yourself yet. But, I think there is a good chance that if you do this, you will find Jan's birth record (born 1843/1844/1845) on the microfilm from here:
https://familysearch.org/search/catalog/118019#?availability=Family%20History%20Library
Film 939868 has BIRTH records for years 1779-1798, 1810-1837, 1868-1870. Sorry but ~1844 is MISSING from this film.
Film 939869 has BIRTH records for years 1847-1867. Sorry ~1844 is MISSING from this film.
So, this means these 2 films MIGHT not be good to you, because years 1838-1846 seem to be missing from the LDS/Microfilm collection.
Jablonka-Koscielna: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jab%C5%82onka_Ko%C5%9Bcielna
Seems like the parish records were kept in the near-by bigger town of "Wysokie Mazowieckie", because Jablonka-Koscielna has a population of only about 160 people.
As a wild-guess, maybe you could try searching the Jewish records for this area:
https://familysearch.org/search/catalog/299742#?availability=Family%20History%20Library
There are 3 microfilms available.
Jan's BIRTH (~1844), MIGHT be found on Film 747702. ("Akta urodzeń/Birth, małżeństw/marriage, zgonów/death 1834-1836, 1844, 1846-1849, 1852, 1857, 1859-1861, 1863-1865"). Text of these records seems to be in Russian and Polish languages according to the description. For about $7.50, you can order the Microfilm and have it mailed to your nearest LDS/FamilyHistoryCenter and view the microfilm for ~1844 birth records.
Or, you can try to order the 939868 and/or 939869 microfilms of the Roman-Catholic books, and *MAYBE* the ~1844 birth records are part of the collection (because the description of the records has a mistake?). This is usually not the case (bad description), but desperatation and $24 means you could view all 3 microfilms to see if you see any birth records for ~1844 in those 3 films.
Maybe someone else here can help point you into how to contact the church/parish of Wysokie_Mazowieckie (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wysokie_Mazowieckie and http://www.wysokiemazowieckie.pl/ ) because it seems to have held the church records for Jablonka-Koscielna.
Or, contact someone on the http://www.katalogszlachty.com/ website for help?
From this site, it says: "Who of us interested in the history of your family is not faced a dilemma - where to find the information you need? The answer is kind of simple - just visit the State Archives or the Diocesan Archives". So the State and Diocesan Archives might have the birth record you seek.
And the Contact page has this a person's email: [email protected] so you might try to email him, asking where to find ~1844 birth records, microfilm, etc for Jablonka-Koscielna and/or Wysokie-Mazowieckie.
