Frances Josephine Kuchowski Moraczewski was my wife's grandmother. I am trying to get information on her siblings and parents. She was born in March of 1893 in Poland.

There was a Frances Moraczewski in Chicago, IL. At cyberdriveillinois.com (IL death certificates):

MORACZEWSKI FRANCES F/W UNK 0048302 1948-12-02 COOK NORWOOD PARK TWP

Her death certificate # is 0048302. The names of parents are usually listed on a death certificate.

Thanks for your reply. I found this but they are saying the actual death certificates are not available for deaths after 1947. Thanks for your help!

I see that you cannot get an archival copy, but if you want to pay for a certified copy, you can order one from the Illinois Department of Public Health.

Bret and GenGirl,

High chances it is this Franciszek Moraczewski (birth place and birth year match);
http://metryki.genealodzy.pl/metryka.php?ar=8&zs=9233d&sy=158&kt=2&skan=311-314.jpg

Stary Soucz, in my opinion, must be a typo for Stary Sacz (the tailed 'a' sounds 'on', and the handwritting was interpreted as 'ou').

Bingo!
Frances arrival attached. The link to the ship list is broken, so I could only save this image. Alt Lander is a typo for Alt Sandez , the german name for Stary Sacz:
Community: Stary Sącz / Stary Sącz (before 1939)
Other names: Altsandez [j.niemiecki]

Brett,

A Wladyslaw Kuczkowski. arriving June 17, 1910, going to meet his brother Michael in Illinois (Pauline street?). Their father was Michal Kuczkowski, both from Stary Sacz. Wlad was 23, therefore born about 1887, which makes him a possible brother to Frances (Franciszka).

Genirl, Joann and Alberto:

Thank you so much for all of your help! Alberto...it is quite possible that Wladyslaw and Michael could be the brothers of Franciszka. per my records they would also have a sister who was named Anna who because a Zygler when she married. Please let me know what you find out. Thanks!

Alberto:

Doing some more work, "Anna" could be "Anieta" who came on the same ship as Franciszka.
