Post subject: Finding passport information
Hello forum,
I'm currently working on gathering all the documents needed for the citizenship by descent and I'm struggling to really know where I can find or ask for information about my great-grandfather's passport or other relevant documents to prove his Polish nationality.
He arrived in Argentina on the Zeelandia ship in 1930, leaving from Amsterdam. He was born in Lopushne (currently Ukraine) and lived as Polish until his passing. I've contacted Ternopil's archive, and they told me they have his birth certificate and a military enrollment document, but I'm not quite sure if this is enough to prove his Polish citizenship so I wanted to try to get a passport or similar document from a Polish entity.
