Today I started publishing the new blog. This is the story by Mary (https://polishorigins.com/mhardee), who was our guest in 2016.

If you have your relatives in Konin and Licheń area (in today's Wielkopolskie Province), this might be particularly interesting for you.

"We talked awhile sitting at his picnic table and realized there might be a connection to my grandfather’s side of the family. Mr. Wilinski, sure reminded me of my grandfather in looks and similarities. His wife came out and he introduced her to us. She listened and smiled, then went back inside the house..."

While looking through the gate admiring the property, a lady approached us. Z, in polish explained to the lady why we were there. She looked at me and smiled, and invited us to come through the gate and view the large estate. We hesitated, but accept her invitation.

A surprise was revealed to me later regarding this visit. That evening, Z did some research and revealed to me that this estate was where my great grandparents Wojciech worked as a guard and Emilia worked as a maid...

This is about the continuation of genealogy research in Pelplin and visit in the villages Mieliczki, Osiek and Skórcz in Pomorskie province and tourist visit in Białowieża (birdwatching!).
