Post subject: Great Poles: John Paul II - Karol Wojtyla
Today, April 2, 2009, is the fourth anniversary of death of Jan Pawel II (John Paul II) one of the greatest Poles in history.
I found so many beautiful and so true comments about how people experienced Karol Wojtyla. I will to quote only three of them from youtube.com:
(by Venomlord99) "I am a secular Jew. And I loved this man. I believe in neither Heaven nor Hell, but I feel that perhaps the former should be created especially for his spirit."
(by HankWillythethird) "look at him. I love him, we all love him, but why? Because Christ's love shone forth from him so brightly. We love and were drawn to him so because we saw Christ in him, and we are naturally attracted to Christ's love and Christ's light. That is what made this man great, not all his accomplishments or wisdom, or fame or any of the incredible things he did, those were just icing on the cake, what made him great was how he let Christ shine through him so, He is still with us, Pope JP2, pray for us."
(by SamFreedom ) "this guy had that special something that we all immediately know is love and to which we are so deeply, and instantly, attracted. Thank you, God, for letting us spend some time with him."
And two videos from youtube.com
My tribute to John Paul II, Karol Wojtyla 1920-2005 (with abstract of one of his many speeches and... song performed by himself)
