Hi, I am correct in thinking that this marriage record is in German? This is the marriage between my great-great grandmother's brother Wojciech Kornak from Świlcza, and Maria Grzesik from Mrowla. It appears that he served in the military, and I was wondering if anyone could please translate what it says about that. Thank you for your time!
Cheri
I've attached it, but here is the link https://skanoteka.genealodzy.pl/index.php?op=pg&id=4571&se=&sy=4505&kt=1&plik=024.jpg&x=1990&y=849&zoom=1
It's on the page on the right.

Hi Cheri,

You are right, it is in German. Why not go ahead and post it where Michael is more likely to see it.
It appears to me that your Wojciech (Adalbert) was in the Uhlans. How exciting!

Best regards,
Sophia

Sophia,
Thank you so much. I'm afraid that I don't know where to post, I didn't see a German record translation forum. Could you please direct me to where Michael might see it?
Thanks,
Cheri

Hi Cheri,

Sorry for my lack of one important detail! Scroll to the end of that thread and post a reply (as opposed to clicking on "new topic").
