Post subject: Sebastian Przybylek, Frances Mross - any info can help
I have a 1906 death certificate that has 2 names on it
1. Sobestyan (which I pressume is Sebastian) Przybylek
2. Frances Mross
They are parents of Mary Przybylska - witkowiak - Stasik it states parents birthplace was Prussia and has no other info about parents on it. If anyone can help me with any info I would greatly appreciate it. I have info on the differnt spellings of names and I have search and came up emptyhanded. So anything new may be of assistance to me. Thaks in advance

My father was a Mross. His ancestors were from Prussia, a village called Eylau, from Danzig, and from Koenigsburg.
Post WWII, Eylau has become Bratiovanostock (sp?) Poland, Danzig is now Gdansk, Poland, and Koenigsburg East Prussia is Kalininstad, Russia.
My father always insisted that he was Czech, and that his family, which he thought were originally named MRAZ or MROZ - both common Czech names, came to Prussia because one or more of his ancestors were in the Austro-Hungarian army.
Also, there seem to have been numerous and unrelated Mross clans in the US. Mine centered around the Michigan City, Indiana area.
I hope this is of some help to you.
