Post subject: Kyć from Adamówka, Właz from Poznań
I am just beginning my journey. My order for FTDNA and Ancestry kits is coming in the mail. I know that I have relatives in Poland near Adamówka and Poznań. The names Kyć, Petrowski and Właz are in my parents. These are the only clues I have so far. _________________ Kyć - Adamówka

It has been a while since I have posted but only because of business. Very interesting developments. Here is an update.
auDNA is suggesting 99% Eastern European ethnicity from two companies with traces from the Baltic region.
mtDNA turned out to be haplogroup T1a1b. The farthest back I have been able to go so far is Babush Anna Wlaz, maiden name Kukielka. She comes from an area only 50 miles away from my patrilineal grandmother in Adamówka! Yet they were in Philadelphia, PA. USA only a few blocks from each other.
Y-DNA haplogroup so far is I-P37 (I2a2) which very much surprised me for several reasons. Suffice it to say I appear to be very Slavic. In connection with that I recently purchased the Big-Y test to contribute citizen scientist based understanding of Slavic genetics.
Also, I am getting my passport renewed. Perhaps Poland is my near future. 0_0 _________________ Kyć - Adamówka
