I have found a record in Geneteka that appears to be in the Hungarian language. The record is displayed in Malopolskie in the Piekielnik USC parish. Is this the proper place to ask for a translation of the record?

Interesting, isn't it?

Geneteka has indexed only marriages for the years 1895-1903 for Piekielnik parish.

When I click on random scans, they are a language that is not Polish, German, Russian or Latin:

Typing a few words into Google translate, it suggests exactly what Denise has said, that this is Hungarian.

Have you ever seen anything like this in Polish records?

That's right, it's Hungarian. Never seen it before. The territories of the Austro-Hungarian Empire also included part of Poland.

Thank you for pointing out that information.

I believe there is a Chyzne in Poland and a Chyzne in Slovenia/Slovakia. How would I know which one applies? I am hoping there is something in that marriage record that points me in a certain direction.
