Post subject: Bem Wasielak and Kuras Families
Hello,
Does anyone have information on the Bem family from Waksmund, Galicia? It is possible the Bems were from somewhere else and moved to Waksmund. I am unclear about this.
I am trying to find genealogy records on Jozef Bem (born around 1880s) who married Hedwig Wasielak (born about 1880s), but on some documents, she is listed as Hedwig Kuras. This is as far back as I can get. At one point, they were in the Pennsylvania, USA, but appear to have moved back. I believe there is a Francis (spell?) Bem who was a priest or some how involved in the Catholic Church. Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi,
I am great great great grandson of Hedwiga. We know history of the family, because the grand doughter of Jozef Bem (Genowefa) is still alive. It is small girl from this picture and she is 84 years old at the moment.
