Hello Michael,
Thank you so much for the translation. Can you tell me what is written in the far right column? there is no column title, but I am wondering if it is either cause of death or some administrative detail like the person who recorded the entry? Can you make it out? It seems to be the only entry of its kind on the page. What I mean is that the other acts have entries in that column that are repetitive, and this entry is one of the kind.
Thanks again!

Hello Cynthia,
You're welcome. The far right column gives the cause of death. Some of the comments are easy to read like "Altershalb" (because of old age) in entries no 14 or 17 or "Schwindsucht" (consumption or tuberculosis) in no 18. The comment in no 22 I'm a bit unsure about. I read it as "an der Kolick" (because of colic) but as I said, I'm not sure.
Best

Thank you again, Michael, for attempting to translate the cause of death. Yes, it does look like "kolic".
The mystery for me with this record is that it states in the entry that he lived in Frankenau (and died there as well ?), but was buried in Thurau (Turowo).
Now, why would he be buried almost 10 miles away in Thurau? According to the Gazetteer, Thurau only had a Catholic Church while Frankenau only had an Evangelical Church at that time. Yet, all the other Radzyminski records I have found for his descendants list them as Evangelical... not Catholic.
Have to think about this one.... if you have any ideas, let me know.
Thanks for your help!

Post subject: Please translate Jacob Radzyminski marriage
Hello again,
When you have the time, can someone please translate this short (but difficult to read) 1756 marriage record for Jacob Radzyminski of Frankenau? It is in the middle of the page (about).
Thank you for your help!

Post subject: Casimir Alicz Death Record
Wondering if someone can translate the attached record for me. It is for my Great Great Great Grandfather Casimirus Alicz from 1855 in Vandsburg. It is #52, the sixth record from the top. I'm interested in the column headings and the corresponding entry. Thought it was originally Polish but was told it is in German.
Thank you in advance.

Hello Cynthia,
The first word in the second line - which I think it is the bride’s given name - is illegible for me, but here is the rest of your entry:
Jacob Radziminsky aus Frankenau mit der
xxx Barska Ewa genandt [old German for ‚genannt’] aus
Wiersbau Soldauschen Ambtes [old German for ‚Amtes’. There was another village in the county of Neidenburg called Wiersbau near Neidenburg.] den 16ten November getraut.
Jacob Radziminsky of Frankenau married with xxx Barska called Ewa of Wiersbau near Soldau on November 16th.
Best,
Michael

Hi Michael,
Thank you very much for the interpretation!! I know that first word of the second line (bride's first name) is impossible to read. It must be an unusual name since she was called "Ewa".
Thanks again
Cynthia
