Hi, I'm looking to have the third entry translated. It should be for a Franz Zynda. I'm not sure if the writing is difficult to read because it's blurry or if it's because I don't know the language. You'll have to let me know. Thank you!!!

Hi, Jaime
A handwritten text in an unknown language is always a kind of challenge. What might help is to learn certain words you will find quite often like “Witwer”, “Altsitzer” or “Auszehrung” in this example. What also might help is that dates are often written in figures and repeated in words (See the comment in the header of the columns: “In Ziffern und Buchstaben”). And sometimes it’s just blurry – when the day of death is corrected or the daughter’s name gets an additional “n” later.
Here is the translation:
Residence of the deceased - Berent
Name and status of the deceased - Franz Zynda, widower and retired farmer [Altsitzer]
Day and hour of the death - June 21 [1863] at 3 o’clock a.m.
Day of the burial - June 23 [1863]
No. of the grave - 95
Children under age or other heirs of the deceased, as far as the priest knows about - 3 children; Marianna married Wensierska 40 years, Johann 37 years, Jacob 33 years
Illness or other cause of death - emaciation [Auszehrung]
Age - 72 years
Name of the priest who received the death notice - Müller
Best regards,
Michael
