The quality of this scan is poor, so it’s more guessing than reading:
On September 4th, 1864 was baptized Albert Wilhelm Heinrich, born on August 25th at 10 o’clock a.m., son of Johann Kiper, [his profession is illegible] and Charlotte, born [her maiden name is illegible], the father residing in Gohra. [The names of the godparents are illegible].
Perhaps you could provide a scan with a higher resolution. |
Here is hopefully a better scan of the record. Thanks, Gene Tylisz

Would you please translate the attached baptismal record for Infant Male Kieper, son of Johanna Kieper. He appears on Line 69. It appears that this child was not baptized (no godparents listed and no date) so are there notes that this child died at birth ? Thank you, Gene Tylisz.

Johann Gotthard, born on November 18, 1792, baptized on November 25. Father: Joh. [Johann] Christian Kieper, xxx [unsure about this word], German. Mother: Sophia, born Demckin. Godparents: Sir [Herr] Gotth. [Gotthard] Bogong. Fridr. [Friedrich] Mehlfeld’s son, Carl Forderung’s son, Charl. [Charlotte] Dischmannin’s daughter, Regina Böhmin’s daughter, all German.
The suffix –in indicates a female gender, the abbreviated fil. means filius or son/filia or daughter, so I would read “Regina Böhmin filia” as “the daughter of Regina Böhm” but it might also mean “Regina Böhm, daughter”.
