Welcome to the Forum Anna,

Well, I didn't find anything about Galascha surname in my sources. It sounds rather like Russian or Ukrainian name... In Poland there are no people using this surname.

I wonder if this name might be a variant of "Galuszka" ? I have a cousin by that name, he told me that his family was originally from the Poznan area.
