| Hello, I have been researching mine and my partner's family history for 5 years now. Having got back far with other lines, I have now turned to tracing my partner's Polish ancestry of which we know very little. His grandfather moved to the UK after the end of WW2 - his name was Jerzy Buczko although he anglicised his first name to George. We know from his naturalisation documents that his father was Josef and his mother, Marta, and that he was born in Zielnowo, Poland. Other than this, we know nothing. Could I please have some advice about where to start?
Thanks, Laura |
