My ancestors are from Ludzmierz, in the Nowy Targ region. His name is Joseph Czaja, son of unknown father and Anna Czaja (Parents Jan Czaja and Regina Cebulska.) If anybody has genealogy in Ludzmierz, write it down here so we can converse about our research and help each other.

Is the surname Jachymiak from Ludzmierz. I am from Chicago, and my friend has the Jachymiak last name. He siad he's been to the mountains in Poland, around Nowy Targ he said.

Yes it is, James. I wonder if he's my cousin in anyway. I'm sure he is, I just haven't gotten far enough into my research.
