thanks to some help from a distant relative on ancestry, i think I have found my great grandfather's marriage entry. The problem is it appears the pen ( or maybe quill) was terrible and the writing is incredibly hard to read. Do you think you could look at it and possibly translate, especially the narrative below the entry. The entry I am looking at is this page:
https://www.szukajwarchiwach.gov.pl/en/jednostka/-/jednostka/19881991?_Jednostka_delta=20&_Jednostka_resetCur=false&_Jednostka_cur=2&_Jednostka_id_jednostki=19881991

and is in the lower right hand corner for marintus pudelho and agatha boyda. I may not have those last names spelled correctly. Thank you very much

Hi mtmtntop,

When I click on your link it does not take me to a single scanned image, but rather a whole page of them. For anyone who wants to decipher this record, follow the link above and open scan #29 of 53.

My impression is that the text beneath the entry for Martinus (Marcin) Pudelko and Agatha (Agata) is the recording of the dates that their marriage banns were read, plus a bit more legal lingo that you can probably find more legibly written at the bottom of other marriage entries in this book.

You may try to ask Dave for help for the Latin translation of the record on the Latin translations thread, unless he spots it here first.

Agata's surname may be Bajda, rather than Boyda. Not sure.

Best of luck,
Sophia
