This is a portion of the marriage record in 1873 for Jozef Zelasko from Wizajny parish, Suwalki.

I am trying to determine if his mother was still living at that time. I think the word before her name (Karolina Rydzewski) in the attachment might indicate that she is no longer living but am uncertain of that word.

I would appreciate any thoughts about that word from someone who is more familiar with cyrillic.

помершей means: the late
