Greetings all,
I would appreciate some clarification regarding the attached marriage acts. The same groom appears in both records but the brides are different. I can make out the parents in the 1881 marriage but the earlier record is more difficult for me to read. I don't need a translation, but the vitals would be appreciated. Also is Piotrawin mentioned in both and if so, in what regard?

Kind regards,
Henry

I live in Sierpc. I am so honored to do translation of a marriage that took place in my home town.

Sierpc
Nr 4

It happened in the town of Sierpc, on January 19th/21st [a typo error: it should be: January 9th/21st], 1880, at 10 a.m.

We make it known that in the presence of the witnesses, Józef Chrabkowski, a farmer, 36 years old and Stanisław Szymanowski, a farmer, 32 years old, both living in Sierpc, a religious marriage was concluded on this day, between:

Feliks Bigorowski, a single man, a farmer living in the village of Przybyszewo, a son of the late spouses: Franciszek Bigorowski and Józefa Bigorowska nee Klimowicz, who was born in the village of Brzeźno located in the country of Lipno, 23 years old

and

Julianna Amalia, of two names, Zelenty, a miss, daughter of the late spouses: Karol Zalenty [this is the way the surname was written here] and Ewa Zalenty nee Wunsz, farmers from Sierpc, who was born in Sierpc, being in her 21st year of living, living at her sister's in Sierpc.

This marriage was preceded by the three banns of marriage, announced in the parish churches in Gozdowo and Sierpc, on: December 22nd of the last year/January 4th of the current year, December 29th/January 11th and January 6th/18th of the current year.

The bride's guardians, who were present at drafting this marriage act, gave their oral permission for this marriage.

The newlyweds declared they did not enter into the prenuptial agreement.

The religious marriage ceremony was performer by the priest Jan Krassowski, the local parish vicar priest, by the permission given by the parish-priest.

This act was read to the newlyweds and the witnesses, and due to their illiteracy it was signed by Us only.

Priest Makary Grabowski, the Sierpc parish-priest, serving as Civil Registrar.

I would like to know if the bride's maiden name here is Zyzkowska or Merska. She is a widow, I guess. Geneteka says "wdowa domo Zyzkowska"...so is that her maiden name?
