Dear Group,
I am locked out of Geneteka, for some reason no matter what I do I can't get back in. I found this listing there and I am hoping someone can tell me how to retrieve it. It is my 2 X's great grandparents Feliks Piotrowski and Rozalia Leśniewska. I do not read Polish or Russian. Any help in whom I may contact regarding this record would be GREAT!!! I have attached the screenshot of the record information from Geneteka. THANK YOU AGAIN!

Thank you very much. The only record that I have for my 2 X's great grandparents are the marriage banns from my great grandparents Andrzej and Anna. I thought this may have been Feliks and Rozalia's marriage banns. I thank you very much for your help and hope I can find more information in the future. Thank you very much once again, Mary

I tried to translate what you were able to read. Unfortunately, as I mentioned earlier, the quality is poor.
You should look for your ancestors in the parishes of Szczepki, Szczebra, Suwalki and Augustow. There is very little to be found in the first two. Szczepki church burned down. I have two more documents which may contain something concerning the family. Will send you as soon as I look at this and translate.

No.9 Przejmy
It happened in Szczebra, on February 17th, 1828.
The witnesses: ……………..a peasent, 40 years old living in Szczebra and Jan Leśniewski, a peasant, 25 years old, living in Kierzek, the bride's cousin.
Groom: Feliks Piotrowski, a bachelor, a peasant, 24 years old, who was born and living in the village of Szczebra, a son of Szymon Piotrowski and Zofia nee Ostrokołowicz, the Piotrowski spouses, living in Szczebra.
Bride: Rozalia Leśniewska, a miss, 19 years old, who was born and living in the village of Przejmy, a daughter of Szymon and Katarzyna, the Leśniewski spouses, living with her parents.
This marriage was preceded by the three banns of marriage, announced, on: February 3rd, 10th and 17th.
There were no objections for this marriage. The newlyweds declared they did not enter into the prenuptial agreement.
This act was read to the newlyweds and the witnesses, and it was signed by Us only. The newlyweds and the witnesses were illiterate.
Priest Pafnucy Konopka, the parish-priest of Szczebra

Hi again,
Here is the wedding record of Benedictum (Benedykt Piotrowski) and Marianna Krawcewicz. The couple married on 13 September 1764 in Szczebra parish Augustow. The age was not given. Witnesses were: Joannes (Jan) Zdanowicz and Andreas (Andrzej) Maciukiewicz.

Benedykt and Marianna were the parents of Szymon Piotrowski.

In the census from 1786 I could read that Benedykt lived with his wife and children: Jakub 20, Szymon 16, Marcin 6 and daughter Tekla 5 years old.

In the census from 1792 I could read that Benedykt lived with his wife and children: Szymon 21, Marcin 12, Jan 6 and daughter Tekla 9 Years old.

Son Jakub is not in the census in 1792, which means that he either moved away or died.

I also found a daughter for Szymon and Zofia. And a wedding to Tekla (daughter of Benedykt and Marianna).
