good morning,

am helping an elderly lady research her family and after any records pertaining to this lady which is her Grandmother, many thanks

Stefania Snopek
died 6 May 1949
buried 9 May 1949
Cmentarz Bródnowski, Warszawa
section 2g, row 4, grave 8
probable age approximately 38–39
probable maiden name Wójcik
probable husband Edward Snopek

Grandfather was Edward Snopek; born 17 October 1907; Młociny/Bielany, Warsaw; parents Walenty and Józefa; married Stefania Wójcik. he was apparently transported / travelled Warsaw → Dulag 121 → KL Auschwitz → KL Mauthausen is it possible to access camp recards

Hi, and welcome to the forum. How nice of you to help someone search for their grandparents.

At the moment, I have only a quick confirmation for you about a few details, as gleaned from a search on Geneteka (see the image below of a screenshot). Her grandmother's maiden name was indeed Wójcik, and she has her grandfather's parents' names correct also. Stefania's mother's name was Michalina.

Geneteka shows that Edward Snopek married Stefania Wójcik in 1928 in Warsaw. This is the church they married in, the parish of Matki Bozej Rozancowej (Our Lady of the Rosary):

Not sure what actual records can be found, but I thought you'd like this first bit of information.
