Post subject: Research on Polish Ancestors From Lipinki Galicia Austria
I have ancestors with the Surname, Sinda, who came from Lipinki, Galicia, Austria, Poland. My Grandfather, Jozef Sinda and his brother Antonia Sinda came to the United States in 1905. I believe that my Great Grandfather, Kasper Sinda and his wife Viktoria Jurusik Sinda lived in Lipinki Galacia if the 1850 - 1942 time frame.
I do not know their religion. I have always thought that it was Catholic.
Does anyone have any ideas about researching this area of Galicia?

The name Sinda is very rare in Poland, 30 cases, 9 of 30 in Gorlice (orange spot in the southern Poland).
