Hi, I'm looking for the baptismal records for St. Peter's and Pauls in Vilnius Lithuania from 1863.

I don't seem to be able to be able to find them at www.epaveldas.lt

Are there any other sources?

Check out geneteka here http://geneteka.genealodzy.pl/index.php?op=gt&lang=eng&w=23lt There are already indexed parish records from 1797 to 1903, so enter the name and search ! Smile Polish name for the records (BMD) that can be choosed from the dropdown list is Wilno ap. śś. Piotra i Pawła.

Thank you! There don't seem to be any baptism records between 1830 and 1899 for that parish. Maybe they haven't been digitalized yet.

According to Wikipedia...

" In 1864, as reprisal for the failed January Uprising, Mikhail Muravyov-Vilensky closed the monastery and converted its buildings into military barracks.[11] There were plans to turn the church into an Eastern Orthodox church, but they never materialized."

... So that explains why there are no records for the years I'm looking for. Maybe he was baptized in a neighboring parish.
