Hi Liz,
Grażyna Kika* / Kikie* / Kikla*. It's tiny tiny, I do not know if the name is in nominative or with declension.
I do not see "Mo".
Best,
Elzbieta

I should have posted the whole page for comparisons, but what looks like a K is really an M. All of the other capital M's look the same. I do know that one of passengers related to her has a last name of Mokej. It looks like they spelled it as Mokiej on the pic I posted. Thanks for looking! I just can't make out the first name. IM WONDERING IF THE FIRST LETTER IS A T OR AN F.

Hi
I cases like this we need some background information that usually helps in decipher hard cases. Firstly, it would help to post the whole page of manifest, or at least give link to it.
Secondly, Solinka was Łemko/Ukrainian village. Thus, the name could possibly written bearing in ming ukrainian accent. Some other rules apply to ukrainian than to polish words. That why this even could be Mykhej or Mykij or so.
Lets go even further. When searching ellis islanf for "solink" words, i get many people were going to USA, its like mass emigration from such small village. We see many wrong names, this surname must be hard word indeed. Give it a try to mix them all from the picture and find right one, i leave this problem still unresolved.
Concerning name. I would believe absolutely what Elżbieta wrote its Grażyna its like almost perfect match. But, still again, is that really ukrainian name? But on the other side, she may was polish greekcatholic as well.
Last thing. You asked in other thread about relatives. Solinka was Łemko/Ukrainian village, after WWII all habitants were replaced to other places during "Wisla" Operation and right now this area is beautiful but empty space. Żubracze was burned to the ground by UPA so if any living there now may be just newcomer.
