Is there anyone on this list who lives in Kolo or the village of
Koscielec near Kolo?

I am afraid that because of language barrier this Forum is not popular among Polish people.

What are you interested specifically about Kolo or Koscielec?

I'd like to correspond with someone from Kolo or Koscielec...my
grandfather was born in Straszkow but left no other info. I'd like to
know about the village and countryside. Ultimately I'd like to find
my grandfather's half-brother's descendents. If I can not make such
a contact I'd like to disconnect from this list...

Try to contact David ('joda' in our Forum), click here for his information page: http://polishorigins.com/places/show/id/199/ . He was born in the US but moved to Poland together with her wife Joan a few years ago. They live in Poznan now. Part of his family come from Kolo.
