I was able to locate my ancestors that came from Zielun, Poland to Baltimore, MD on June 27, 1883.

At the time of immigration the Family was : Adam Biszkago 55 years old , Mother: Marianne 42 years old , Son: Ladislaw 9 years old , Son: Ignak 4 years old, Daughter: Marianne 7 years old , Mother in Law Catherine Majeski 60 years old,
Immigrated to Baltimore, MD, United States June 27, 1883 From Zielun, Russia.
Ended up in Berlin, Wisconsin.

Other spellings of last name: Beczkala, (In Wisconsin I have seen these spellings: Betchkal, Batchkal, Betchkaw, Betchka)

Any help on this family would help....but I am very interested in this:
According to Ignak's biography He states that Adam was an officer in the Russian Government under the czar and held the title of Czandiar which means sheriff a post he held for 30 years.
