My Kołodziej family in the 1772-1790 Nagoszyn church records are shown as “colonus” or colonizers that were not originally native to Nagoszyn.

I’d like to find out caused the expansion of the manor farmland in Nagoszyn sometime around 1750-1765 and where the colonizers may have come from.

I believe the Nagoszyn landowner (also nearby Zassów and Wiewiórka) at the time was Prince Janusz Sanguszko or his wife Constantia Donhoff Sanguszko. The manor landlord may have been Jan Dobrowolski.

Does anyone have suggestions on how I would find this information?

Thanks! Mike
