Hello All,
I was hoping someone here might be able to tell me about this location or even point me in the right direction.
The Pronski/Chalupowski line of my family emigrated from Mikielewszczyna and I have had a hard time finding
any information on this area.

Thank You!

My grandfather came from Mikielewszczyzna, name was Roman Chałupa, his wife was Maria Pilecki. He had shop in Mikielewszczyzna. Roman i Maria Chałupa had son Józef, my grandfather. Józef had wife Weronika Kulig. Weronika parents was Jacek Kulig and Antonina Pronski.

Roman Chałupa has brother Jan Chałupa. Jan, Roman's brother, with his wife Marianne moved to America, where they had seventeen children. Anastazja was married with Maskiewicz, with whom she had Józef, Antonina, daughter Weronika i Józefa. Weronika married Szyman Turczyński. Antonina was married to the son of Mancewicz trees. My grnadfather Józef came to the Polish and lived in good health until 1964. Józefa sister, the daughter of Roman Urszula had 7 children with Adolf Turczyński. Urszula lost during the war, in dramatic circumstances, two oldest sons. German soldiers during World War II for helping AK hanged two of her sons, and told her to choose which you want to kill and which to leave. Urszula this as her mother could not do, so the soldiers took the three oldest boys: Jan and Jacka. Frank - rejected at the last minute to return to his mother. Urszula had also Mateusz, and Witek, Irena and Czeslaw. Irene lived in Bobolice, she married a citizen Finlandiii Korotko. Her daughter Julia was a doctor and lived in the United States. Frank rescued from the Germans miraculously persecuted after the war by the Soviet NKVD and was exiled to Siberia, where he died.

name: Chałupa, Proński, Pilecki, Korotko

I have a lot of story from Mikielewszczyzna, because my grandmother came from. My grandmother is alive and happy to answer questions.
