Thank you for helping our family reconnect with our Polish origins!
Maria (Mary, Maryanna) Szaflarska b. abt 1876 married abt 1890 Ludwick Samiczak. Their children are Anna b. 1 Nov 1892 and Antonina b. 13 Aug 1896.
Ludwick Samiczak died, possibly killed, before 1899.
Maria Samiczak marries Michal Gal abt. 1899. Their children are Aniela b. 15 Jun 1900, Rosalia b. 29 May 1902, Stanley b. 15 Nov 1907.
Are there any records or knowledge of our family?

Cathy,
Wróblówka in the late 1800s and at the beginning of 1900s belonged to Czarny Dunajec parish. This means that all events were recorded in this parish church. You will find many fascinating information about this old town, its history as well as present day (including live webcam showing one of the streets in Czarny Dunajec) on this thread in our Forum: http://forum.polishorigins.com/viewtopic.php?t=370 started by Shellie some time ago. We visited the town last year with Shellie and her husband while looking (and finding ) for ancestors and living relatives in neighboring Odrowaz parish. You can read Shellie's blog from her ancestry trip here: http://blog.polishorigins.com/category/shellies-tour/ .
On June next year on June I will also be in this town on Forefathers Traces Tour with my other guests whose ancestors came from located nearby Podszkle.
What is important for family history searchers in this area (in general for the old Galicia, south-east part of Poland) is the fact that in most cases vital records from local churches haven't been moved to State Archives and are still kept locally in the old parishes. Most probably the same is in case of Czarny Dunajec (to confirm that ones would have to contact the parish directly).
Sometimes records are kept in Diocese Archives. Unfortunately, Krakow Diocese Archives has been closed for a long time now because of renovation works.
So, currently one of the to ways to obtain ancestral records is to visit the parish personally (or have someone who would do this on our behalf).
OR if there was someone before us and was able to collect some information from the parish books and wants share them you can try to make contact. In the thread about Czarny Dunajec Shellie mentions about well-known expert of this area of Poland and Slovakia Dr Paul Valasek. He encourages to contact people having in their trees (among others) Szaflarski surnames This is the quotation: "Anyone who has relatives in Czarny Dunajec and has lines including the family names Stopka, Szaflarski, Kowalkowski, and Nalezny in their trees, please send me an e-mail ([email protected]). I have material for you as well. My thanks go out to Bart Dzielski, who allowed me use of the book, which also details his family. "
Maybe this is the way for you to make progress in your search for Wróblówka ancestors.
And of course, if only you have such opportunity, I wholeheartedly invite you to visit the places of your forefathers. Just ask others what they experienced when they stepped their fathers' land for the first time in their lives: http://polishorigins.com/document/ftt_testimonials .

You can share your findings on your personal page here: http://polishorigins.com/cath just by editing your profile on our website: http://forum.polishorigins.com/profile.php?mode=editprofile and adding information which might interest others who are searching the same surnames or places in the "Notes" field. As you can see here: http://polishorigins.com/places/search/string/czarny among our members there are many more people interested in Czarny Dunajec parish
