Post subject: Help: Finding records from my Grand father
Hí, I´m Nicolás from Argentina.
I´m looking for records about my grand father.
I´ve been searching in http://szukajwarchiwach.pl database but without success.
I´d like if someone could help me. I don´t speak polish and it´s a little bit dificult do the research alone.
The info that I got is:
Name: Aron Giser (maybe Aaron Giser)
Place of birth: Ostrow Lubelski
date of birth: January 1902 (90% sure)
Profession: barber/haircutter
Date of emigration to Argentina: August/september 1926
I found one record at http://www.jewishgen.org/databases/jripl/jridetail_2.php database but he born in 1897.....???... these record is from Kielce Gubernia
(records in Fond 422 Kielce Archive)...akta 34
but I´m not sure. It is other year and other town.
Thanks

Hello,
Unfortunately there seems to be no record available in the jewishgen database
matching the details that you have provided. Since the birthplace is Ostrow Lubelski,
all you can do is you can address the National Archives in Lublin, in writing,
so they can perform a search and hopefully locate the birth certificate that you are after.
The email address is [email protected].
It could be that you will be required to pay a fee in order
to cover the cost of performing a search/making a scan.
Since the year your grandfather was born in is 1902, the birth certificate in question
is bound to be written in Russian.
Regards

Correct me if I am wrong but none of these seem to relate to the Mosaic denomination.
Also, I have not managed to track down any that do relate.
