The Polish National Archives have just announced their twice a year release of scanned images into the Szukajwarchiwach service.

The announcement is here (in Polish of course): http://www.nac.gov.pl/ponad-25-miliona-nowych-skanow-na-portalu-szukajwarchiwach-pl/

The list of what digital images have been released can be found here: http://www.nac.gov.pl/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/Aktualizacja_lipiec_2017.pdf

The images comprise a mix of the BDM records that we all crave, as well as other administrative records from the various regional archives.

As an aside, the announcement includes a couple of very interesting statistics: the number of digitised images now totals 25.8 million, 354,000 people have utilised the szukajwarchiwach service since the start of the year, and 22.7 million images have been accessed since the start of the year.

And of course ‘Murphy’s law’ applies i.e. only BDM records from towns that I have no interest in have been scanned as part of this 6 monthly release. 
