A couple of highlights:
It talks about how they aim to increase the number digitised items from 36 million currently to 55 million by 2023. Amazingly they have estimated their holdings to be 337 lineal kilometres, and have only digitised 2.2% of this to-date !!
Their target is to make 75% of digitised material available via the Internet, and 50% of the material to be of interest to genealogists.
By the end of Q3 2019, they intend implementing a system to capture information about how users are using the szukajwarchiwach web service, to give them a better understanding of what users are interested in.
The will continue to issue their annual digitisation work program for the following calendar year.
In the period 2018-2020 ensure that all regional archives offices have digitisation rooms and equipment of a minimum standard. By the end of 2019, ensure that there are sufficient skilled staff to undertake the digitisation of material.
By the end of Q2 2018 have a digitisation equipment acquisition plan.
Establish a central digitisation service for regional archives while they await establishment of their own digitisation capability.
