My ancestors came from Saxony, so it might be Slavic in origin. Could you help me?

Soldier,

Even if your ancestors were of Slavic origins, the surname itself has German roots. I was not able to find any information in sources concerning Polish surnames.

But, I've checked also the surname distribution map and in 2002 there was 1 person using this surname living in Gorzów Wielkopolski: https://nazwiska-polskie.pl/

You can also see similar map for Germany: http://www.verwandt.de/karten/absolut/zeibig.html. It is quite popular surname there (ca. 900 people bearing this surname).
