Post subject: Zapadka or Pafnucki/Pafnucka - from Mława and Czersk
Searching for information on Zapadka family in Mlawa area--also Pafnucki/Pafnucka--possibly from Czersk?
My mother was from Mlawa but came to US in 1930. Her mother's family was Zapadka and many had immigrated before her from Mlawa. Father (Pafnucki surname) had abandoned his wife (her mother) in maybe 1913 and came to US. She knew nothing about father's family or origins. _________________ Jozia
