My family seemed to spell their surname as “Wiencławski” since the early 1800’s. I have also seen the surnames Więcławski and Więckławski showing up in the same locality. In this all the same surname? Or no?

Hi,
Both Więcławski and Wiecławski are listed in 1900 Census. Wiecklawski not.
ę sounds en, in polish.
It also happens to Dąbrowski = Dombrowski (ą sounds on).
So, IMHO, yes.
